Ok, very frustrating problem here. I have been working on a family history video for some weeks. We had a screening and all was well. People wanted DVDs so I set off to fire up Adobe Encore for the first time in years. I wanted a menu so that there would be a bit of a pause when the disc is inserted. The frustrating part is that the text on the menu…actually just a single word: “Play”…emerges from the DVD build quite jaggy. I have been working on solving this problem for an entire day and am pretty much tired of it. Google implies that others have had similar problems but am able to find no solution. I have been able to reduce the apparent “jagginess” by decreasing the size of the letters and increasing opacity. Probably nobody but me will notice this, but I am just stubborn enough to want to find the proper solution. I hope that a solution will surface in the next day or so.

Details: Win 10 machine. Video: Geforce GTX 1060; 32gb ram

Premiere Project is 1280×720, 29.97; progressive
Encore Project is widescreen; 29.97; lower field.

    Thanks in advance. best/pcf

Do a Google search, it’s a matter of resolution.

    Cheers
