    Hello all,

I’ve built a couple of after effects project to burn to DVD. One of them uses just 1080i HD footage, the other is a combination of HD and SD footage. The problem I’m having is that when I burn either one of them to DVD (after having compressed them using the adobe media encoder), The footage that plays back has diagonal stripes all through it where two edges meet (where a subject’s shirt meets the the subject’s neck, for example). These ‘stripes’ are especially noticeable when there’s movement. So far, I’ve tried using a bunch of different compression settings in media encoder and adding a layer of blur to the text. The layer of blur on text helps a bit, but nothing else seems to. Can anyone help?
