I found “show movie properties” but it is grayed out in my version of quicktime. It is only for the pro version. I am going to try and see what my comp settings are in AE and then what premiere is interpreting the footage as like Vince said. I am also going to try and post some screen shots. One other thing I noticed was that the file coming from AE is 2.13 gb and then the same file rendered out in premiere at the highest quality (i thought) is only 320mb. Premiere is compressing it but I can’t figure out why. I will try and post some screen shots and give you guys a better idea of what is going on. Thanks so much for you help

if QT is scaling your video at all for playback it will screw up graphics like that too. I know when I export something from FCP that is DV, if I watch it in QT it usually looks like crap but, if I export from QT as a .m4v or another format for web, it will look fine again. What is the final output for the video you are working on? You might try taking it to the next step and see how it looks there…

you could also try importing the clip back into premier pro and see if it looks right in there at 100% scale. If it looks good, you don’t need to worry about how it looks in QT…

FYI, I’ve found QT pro to be well worth the few dollars. It’s a very handy utility to do quick audio conversions, for one.

I finally figured out my problem. I made my project in After Effects 864×480 24p and rendered it out as a .mov. Then I used the exact same settings in premiere and the file came out perfect. Before I was using 29.97 720×480 and for some reason premiere did not like it I guess. Thanks a lot for all your help guys, especially Vince because he said that could be my problem from the begging. I will probably not film or make a project in 29.97 again. Thanks again- Mitch
