iTunes Conflict Possible?
After four years of crash-free editing I am experiencing a system crash whenever I attempt to play the timeline. I am using FCP 3 with OS 10.2.8. None of the normal solutions seem to work. Two possibles – I have 11 GIGs of iTunes on one of my media drives and I am also editing double-system sound with the WAV files from a solid state recorder captured on a separate media drive from my picture drive. Any of this sound suspicious to anyone?

Nope. More likely you need to rebuild your startup disk…
