Never experienced this before. Attempting to Share my edited timeline or Send to Compressor but they are “ghosted out” and not available. When I try to Share using icon received the message “Item cannot be shared while it is still referencing media on the camera” and “…has missing or offline titles, effects or generators.” I can see no missing items in my timeline. Need to export timeline for a client ASAP. Anyone ever experience this or any have any recommendations?

i don’t use Share, so cant help solve the specific problem,
but you could step around it, and export a QuickTIme move, same settings,
then run that file through Compressor.

OR, export with Quicktime conversion, but that ties up FCP a bit more.

Try re-importing the media? Something like this happened to me a while back, in FCPX, but you’re talking about FCP7, right?

FCPX. I’ve isolated the problem to the media from my second cam. I can see and play the clips. But when I drop them into my timeline the problem surfaces. At that point I somehow lose the ability to Share, Export, or Send to Compressor my edited timeline. I’m completely baffled. Never had this happen before using these same elements. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

you’ve posted this in the FCP7 forum,
you should re-post in the FCPX Techniques forum.
