i don’t really know if it comes from the OS (windows 7 build 7600 x64,btw: it works perfectly) or from the hardware (quad core,4gb ram,geforce 9800gt).
when i want to fade a clip out in timeline,by adding two keyframes one for 100% and one for 0%,it blacks it entirely,not any fading but it just turn my clip to black.
or i apply directional blur by 2 keyframes start and end,but it blures it all without having the movement i gave for directional blur.
it just makes me hit it like a bitch,but that doesn’t help,so i asked for you guys to give me an answer,at least why does it do like that.
any other windows versions but windows 7 couldn’t make any version of premiere to open,it just gave me “premiere encountered a problem and it needs to close” error and then exit.

what else is on the machine?
Panda Antivirus is an example of an app which will not let PPro run…
I run PPro on Win XP and Vista so Windows 7 isn’t the only OS that runs it, that much is certain.

If you couldn’t open the project on a fresh install of Vista, you have some bigger problems, and I can imagine they will only pile up in the near future.
Picking up from Tim, install a fresh copy of Vista (forget about Win 7, I doubt the video drivers themselves are compatible, even less Premiere which as coded before Win 7 even existed). If you are getting paiud for the work you are doing, format today 🙂
Install Premiere, or the suite and nothing else. Unless, you have either a corrupted project file, or a hardware issue, it will open
