Have been waiting to upgrade to Tahoe – wondering if anyone has experienced Adobe or PP compatibility issues with the upgrade? Thanks!

    Hi,

I have been using Tahoe and Premiere 24-25-26 for months on different machines, and I haven’t come up with any problems related to Tahoe.

I’ve been battling with various Windows machines for years… Moved to a new Mac some months ago, and the contrast is unreal… I’m on the latest version of Tahoe and no issues at all really…. stark contrast to using Adobe on Windows!!

    Tom, Devrim,

    Thanks very much. Very helpful.

Tom – if I had to operate Windows I’d have been out of work decades ago.

I too have been on the fence due to all the things I have been reading about regarding external drives not mounting. ALL of my work is located on external drives and if I can’t mount them I’m doomed! So, I’m extremely hesitant to upgrade. I see two people who haven’t had any problems, yet I’ve read about so many more who have!

Any other experiences people might want to share? I have not read anything about the problem being fixed yet. Anyone have any news? Thank you!

I switched to Tahoe in the middle of this thread. No issues. I have always noticed my Time Machine backup drive takes longer to mount, but not a problem. Other drives mount quickly.

The only thing I have with Tahoe is that my shortcuts for NAS locations on the sidebar do not work. I used to click a sidebar shortcut in Finder, and it would connect to the server-NAS, but it doesn’t do this automatic connection anymore. First, I have to type the address and connect to the server, then it works. It is not a big problem, but this is a thing.
