Issues with Rendering
Hi there!
I am relatively new to After Effects and am having issues rendering an animation I have done. My mate suggested that maybe one of you guys will be able to help so here it goes…
I am doing an animation for a client which needs to be rendered as an animated GIF and then also as a Quicktime Movie.
The Composition is set to HDV/HDTV 720 29.7. The frame rate is 29.97 at a resolution of 1280 x 720.
Its an illustrative animation and basically there are a lot of layers using PNGs created in Photoshop.
When i render it out as a Quicktime movie I am using the Animation Codec – the first time I did it it played really jerky and missed out massive chunks of the animation. I thought this maybe because the quality was set to high so turned that down to Medium and it still does it. Then rendered it out as a GIF and in my browser its still jerky…
I am using After Effects 8.0 and my IMac runs Tiger and has 2GB Ram.
Can anyone suggest anything I’m in a total panic…
Many Thanks
Hannah
