    Hi there,

So I hope I can explain this right, I’m working with a new client, were I design and she cuts the image in vinyl. She is not very computer freindliy, and I know very little about cutters. So here is my issue, when I design something in illustrator the paths along diagonal lines seem to be jagged, and her cutter cuts them jagged (I have inclosed 2 pics for examples)….. So is there a way on my end to make these lines straight as a vertical one would be …so the cutter doesn’t cut the jagged paths?? I have tried redrawing it in Ai. since i originally drew it in photoshop but the diagonal lines still had this effect, any comments or help is greatly appreciated. I am new to illustrator, although I have worked with it before but I know other programs very well such as PS and Flash.

    Thanks in Advance!!
    Cheers

Illustrator only – points, lines, curves are defined mathematically in Illustrator, not by a jagged bitmap as in photoshop, so your edges will be perfectly smooth.
