Issues with Lectrosonic wireless mic
Hi,
We just purchased Canon C300s and notice that when we use our Lectrosonic wireless 400 mics the mics drop out or completely shut down. We can hardwire the camera for sound and audio works fine.
Any thoughts?

Just one idea that comes to mind…
Are you sure that the camera’s 48v phantom mic power is OFF for each channel? The Lectrosonic receivers won’t need that, obviously, and if the phantom power is on it might be making the receivers go haywire somehow.

That was one of the many things we tried desperately during our shoot. -
Hmmmm…. and you can monitor the Lectrosonic receivers directly (headphones straight in to the receivers) and they sound fine?
If so, that’s a puzzler…

I used a dual channel “slot-in” lectro for a number of years with no problems at all. If you don’t mind me asking, are you positive the problem is with the mic. Lectro’s are so reliable. Could it possible by operator error. Kevin
