    Hi there,

I am having some issues with saving an illustrator CS5 file to open in CS3.

When I save the file as a CS3 version, and open it up, the transparent gradients I created in CS5 have a thin border around them- they don’t actually have a stroke applied to them though.

Is there any way that I can save my CS5 file and be compatible with CS3 without losing editing features and transparency effects? I also need the file to be in a native uncompressed format – not a pdf.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

    Thank you~
    Jess

In case any future web surfers come by and read this question, I found a solution:

From CS5, save an .eps version of your file. Open the .eps file in CS3.

    Worked for me!
