  • Issues opening v9 projects in v10…

Has anyone had any issues opening v9 projects?

I have tried importing one project for testing purposes, it’s a large RED project, and no matter how I try it it hard crashes Resolve after it finishes opening/importing.

I’ve tried importing to a Disk based user as well as into a new v10 Database user. As for what I’ve tried opening, I’ve transferred v9 Disk version of the project. I’ve tried importing a DRP created from the Disk version as well as the Database version all with similar results.

The issue doesn’t appear to be the media’s location, I’ve imported the media successfully into an empty project. I’ve even brought in the AAF’s successfully, but not the actual conformed and corrected project.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Eric,

Could you share the V9 project export so we can take a look?

    Thanks,

I though it might be a project size issue…
