January 14, 2012 at 1:51 pmOH MY GOD!! I’ve had the same problem loads of times and tried every export setting under the sun. I DL’d your test and it worked fine all the settings for the music were exactly the same and it wouldn’t work. EXCEPT – My AUDIO HAD SPACES AND AN UNDERSCORE IN IT’S TITLE!! I removed those like yours and it worked straight away! I think ALOT of people have had this problem for this reason, if you put it into a ‘special track’ in the animation view it doesn’t matter, but it seems vital for the sound effector! Thanks for your previous posts on the subject Tim 😀

February 24, 2012 at 12:10 pmhey tim. i know you helped these guys out but I’m in a pickle swell and found this post on google. I’m having the same trouble. i downloaded your file. the audio plays when i press play in the normal window, (the same as my file) but when i render the video the image moves to the music but there is no sound? I’m really stuck. don’t know what to do or what settings to tweak. please help if you know any obvious things i could have missed.

February 25, 2012 at 3:18 amI think you’ll need to add your sound to your file using a “special track” in the timeline.
I have a tutorial on my site:
Adding sound to Cinema 4D renderHope that helps.
