I’ve encountered this issue a couple of days ago and now it seems it’s happening with every other model I’m making: the normals simply keep flipping around on their own. I align the normals, I even do it manually, and everything is fine; then when I focus on something else and come back to the polygon in question, the normals are wonky again: some blue, some yellow. It’s always the same normals, as if there were some sort of “tension” on the object polygon that made them pop back the way they were. As I’ve said, I’ve never before seen this happen. And no matter what I do, I’m checking and checking the polygon, and nothing seems to be out of place. Any ideas?

That sounds really strange. Are you using any third-party tools or scripts? Are you running any commands on the mesh (like Untriangulate)?
