    hi guys!

please help. is this the way vegas works or i am doing sth wrong:
i wanna aply an fx to a part of a frame.
i duplicate a track with my event to be edited.
so initially i have two identical tracks with two identical events stacked one above the other.
i apply a mask through the pan/crop window to the upper event
    no antialias, just the mask
i am getting lines in places where clean border of my mask should be.
    check out the graphic enclosed
    what the hell?
it is even worse with feathering…

anybody got a clue for that one, please?

    thanx
    paul

My guess is that you have other effects applied to both events and it matters if they fall before or after the pan/crop. Look to the top line of your event chain and move fx to the other side of pan/crop. I can explain it in pictures if you need to.

jeff, thanks a lot for good tip. i tried it out a bit and i see it is a good direction. i don’t have time now to test more but i will 🙂
as about same fxs on both events – look: i can’t have trhe same fx on both. this is why i am masking to apply sth different to the upper event. anyway, thanx for a good advice, i hope this will be the one i need. 🙂
