  • [Isometric view] Solid for screen replacement in AE – issue

    Hi Guys,

I tried creating a solid for screen replacement in C4D for After Effect.
The project has got an “isometric style”, so I just used the isometric view in c4d.
But it’s not working with the external composition tag.
The solid that is created is kind off screwed up^^

Does anyone know a workaround for this specific issue?

I also tried creating an isometric camera like mentioned here:
    https://forums.cgsociety.org/archive/index.php?t-626144.html

But I don’t think thats quite correct.

    Best,
    Gerold

Well it seems that AE can’t handle data of other cameras than perspective.
What I tried then, is to get a perspective camera that’s almost equal to an isometric view.
I took a focal length of 1000, h-rotation of 135° (because my stuff is facing Z+) and p-rotation of -35.26449.

It works quit well now 😉
