.iso file
Posted by Ed Vandenderen on December 13, 2011 at 4:49 pmIf I do a burn using the .iso file that resulted from my dual layer blueray render in movie studio, will it have the same content and video quality as the original burn?
Does the iso file burn much faster than the original render? Why?

December 13, 2011 at 5:54 pmYes an iso will burn much faster, since it is merely just a data transfer from the data contained within the iso file to the disc you are creating. A render on the other hand has to do a lot of computation to figure out how to transform each pixel to get the requested output into a data format. The more effects you have the more computation that needs to be done. So it is common for the render to take much longer than just burning an iso image to a disc.

So you know, by chance, anything about “imgburn” software, is it safe to install and use?
Wanted to use it to save a copy of the iso file itself.

December 13, 2011 at 8:27 pmI just recently installed ImgBurn based on a recommendation from John Rofrano posted in this forum. I was able to launch two instances of ImgBurn on my PC to burn two isos at the same time. I placed the two iso files on different drives just to help, but it may not have been necessary.
