is vericam right for me?
I’m an film maker looking into shooting with the vericam which was recomeneded to me by several people. Although clearly better than any DV camera I am growing concerned about shooting with it. This is a 7-10 min short shot entirely on a stedicam, which according to this post and others is very challanging to do with the 26 lb vericam. I was wondering if there is a lighter HD alternative that can produce similar image quality. My primary concerns are color, and light response. It is an out door shoot with natural light in a park setting. So dealing with the sun and capturing the green of the trees is parmount. I am by no means attached to the 720P format in fact any 1080P alterantives are quite welcome seeing i have access to a HDCAM pipeline.
thanks for the help and all of the helpful info in the past
