  • Is Ultra 2 Better for keying?

I am going to do some serious keying in the future. I have a few plug ins in FCP and a few I have found. Ultra says they have a pretty good product, but I will have to do the work on a PC than transfer the .mov file. is it worth the time and money. Will Ultra out do imperfections in lighting and screens? Again is it worth it?

Do you have Motion or Shake? either will do a better job of keying than FCP’s standard keyer will do. We’ve been getting really nice keys from Motion but have to post that they weren’t shot DV…

I do have motion. I was impressed with the backrounds U2 had. Can you do layers in motion if you build an image? Do you have a tutorial in keying in motion?

    thanks

I’d suggest you pickup the Apple Pro Training Book on Motion. It has a wonderful tutorial on green screen keys in Motion. Yes you can create layers in Motion.
