Hello people I was wandering if there is a way to do this effect:
I want to have a still frame aplied over a footage, and for this frame to be deformed and pixel tracked based on the motion vectors of the said footage.
Imagine paint digital make up on a still frame and have it applied over a moving footage.
I´ve tried to do it with twixtor in combustion but not yet succeded. Maybe with another software?
Any help would be really aprecciated.
I´m sorry my english is not great.

    Good Luck

The honest short answer is not right now, and you are not the first to ask about it

Note there is a way to do simple version of that if you have Twixtor PRO and RE:Map Displace (that can take MV as input). By simple I mean making a tatoo move on a cheek when someone laughs or an arm bending so the tatoo stays lock to where the muscle creates a deformation.

More complicated texture sliding won’t work as you would expect.

If you have a project and you know how to do expressions in Combustion, I can outline step by step what to do for the simple case – write to techsupport@revisionfx.com
