    Hello,
I’d like to use motion to put an animated eye onto someones hand-embedded as though the eye is supposed to be there. Hand eyes, if you will.

If you were going to go about doing this, how would you tackle this project?

I think I might shoot video of an eye. Motion track the clip of the eye to a person’s hand, and hope for the best.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

That’s how I would do it.

Motions tracker doesn’t do 3D, so try not to rotate the hand around the x and y axis.

    Thank you, Anders.
I will post the finished project when it’s done.

Yeah it’s possible- comes down to what sort of rotation you did, how you shot it and how realistic you wanted it. I could easily see that done as very simple 2D animation or very complex 3D tracked CGI. It’s all in the details…
