Is this monitor suitable for FCP?
I am thinking of buying this monitor for a 2nd monitor: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SyncMaster-920NW-19-inch-Monitor/dp/B000OSA39Q
I know someone who is selling a used one for a good price.I’m not really sure what technical specs I’d want for a 2nd monitor. The footage I am working with in FCP is 1920×1080. Would this monitor be a fine choice?

A simple search on Google yielded a review on CNET that included the following:
Cons: Has only 700:1 contrast ratio.This is not out of line with the product’s price, but is lower than the average monitor on the market today.
The vast majority of users on this forum who don’t use Apple computer monitors us Dell UltraSharp. Do a quick search and you’ll see that. The Dell monitors are less than half the price of Apple monitors. There are a zillion others to choose from, but this is not the place to get reviews for those. Im fact, if you’re not going to buy the Apple or Dell monitors that everyone else here uses, you’d best use your own eyes to check them out, otherwise you stand a very good chance of getting burned.
