Only because I am worried about him, I have been trying to contact someone who lives several thousands of miles from me, in another country. He and his wife showed me great hospitality when I was in his country several years ago.

I’ve noticed that he hasn’t posted for some time, and I would like to check in with him. His website has disappeared, and internet searches haven’t found him.

Would it be within the COW’s code of conduct for me to locate his last post here (six months ago) and reply to it, asking whether he is okay?

    Thanks.

    Hi Bob,

    Of course it is!

Also, if you want to drop me a note offline, I’ll try to contact him directly with the address we have on file. We never give out anyone’s address, but I’d be happy to let him know you’d like to get in touch. tim at creativecow dot net
