is there way to make background farway
Posted by Tony on December 19, 2005 at 11:14 pmis there away make the back ground fxs look like they are blowing up or on fire and make new ones with out loseing the back ground fx at the same time?

December 21, 2005 at 5:04 ami have this person running on a path and something comes down from the sky and hits the trees and as he runs the trees are on fire and can i make the trees light up in flames and as the person is runing away down the path from the first set of trees on fire can i make the 2nd set of trees light up on fire too but not loseing the first set of fxs in the background

what i am trying to do is have the burning trees far in the backgorund burning and but make the fxs lighter not so bright thats what i trying to say …..so sorry about that

December 23, 2005 at 3:31 pmwell, you can set the visibility property of the emitter to less than 100 to make it less visible. Or you could set the colors a bit darker in the emitter prioperties color dialog.
If you were doing thios with After Effects, I’d say make the stuff in the BG blurry to simulate distance, but pIllusion alone cannot do this.
