  Is there REALLY no answer to color and gamma shift when going PC to Mac???

  I posted a version of this question before but got no answers.

  Basically the footage is shot with Canon 7D. Imported into AE CS5 on PC. Exported to DNxHD 175 10bit 709 (so that there would be no color remapping) – color managed HDTV (Rec709). Brought to Mac and before even entering Avid the QT looks way more contrasty that the original. WHY?? What other color option i should be choosing???
