    Hi there

Basically, I have made an animation in a composition that is about 1000×1000 and I want to put into a PAL DV 520×768 format. When I change the size of the composition obviously it crops everything within. But when I try and rescale all the objects within it the animation gets messed up. I think its because certain objects are parented to each other….would that be why? Like arms and legs are out of place.

So is there anyway I can resize it all? Like in Photoshop you have image size and canvas size…? I know I can precompose and put it into a new composition but then I have to edit it in the other composition….

    Thanks in advance!

If you don’t want to precompose, you can try parenting the parent layers to a new null, then scale down that new null. It would be sort of a “grandparent” null.
