Stupid me, I was originally working on a 24fps project, started a new one and mistakenly didn’t set the frame rate back to 29.97. Long story short I’ve edited about 7 minutes of video in the timeline (all 29.97 clips) and just notice the project setting is 23.976. Is there anyway to change the project to 29.97? Is all the footage I added to the timeline automatically converted to 23.976 when I dropped it into the timeline by Ppro? Any ideas? I’d hate to have to start over.

    Thanks!!
    Tom

Create a 29.97 project and import the original project into it. Drill down into the bin that gets imported until you find the original sequence and open it, don’t nest it.

Thanks! What do you mean open it instead of nesting it?

Doubleclick on it. Don’t drag it to another sequence.

By the way, nesting is an important part of Premiere Pro. It allows you to create extra sequences and then treat them as clips on your main sequence. A very handy thing, but not for your particular task at this time.
