Is there any hope for this footage with Vegas Pro 8?

‘I wasnt clear on how you accessed what tools you used Theo. I am willing to toy around with this considering I wont be going back to Australia soon to get more clips!’

LEVELS and COLOR CURVES both can be found in the Video FX tab. Make sure you activate your histogram when you start working with these tools (VIEW-VIDEOSCOPES-HISTOGRAM)

I am beginning to think that we are working with two different versions of Vegas Pro 8… or mine is defective or something.
