Is there any chart about Rendering times for latest model GPU integrated Graphics Cards for Sony Vegas Movie Studio or Vegas PRO
Or any combination vice versa. I just wanted to get a clearer picture before I invest any money into it. But I wasn’t able to find any information about it except the one is on the official website what is quiet outdated:

Ifv you have any information or you have any recent cards and SV12 please share with us. I guess I’m not the only one who’s looking for some useful information with this matter.
On some forums they said the gtx5xx series was lot more powerfull (optimalized for SV12) then GTX 6xx? Anybody can confirm that or what can be the issue?Thx

Someone on the Sony forum polled users and this is what he came up with.

Bottom line.
The Vegas composite engine work fine with everything. This is used during playback and render as (all codecs)The only encoders (render as) that use GPU accel are Sony AVC and Mainconcept AVC. This GPU use is in addition to that of the Vegas video engine. Mainconcept AVC does not support AMD 7xxx and R9 Gpus.
Nvidia 6xx and 7xx GPUs are not as good at “compute” as 5xx GPUs for a similar chip. aka 580 to 680.

The text at the bottom of the table has great info. I’m trying to understand why I don’t see the OpenCL option when using the new OpenCL-capable drivers (331.x) for my nVidia Quadro 2000. Any ideas?
