Is there a WMV 10 Encode yet? Or is it just the Player thats available in Ten?

The current authoring stuff is in the XP-only WM SDK 9.5. That adds WMV9-Advanced Profile, which requires WMP10 for playback.

I agree the numbering is pretty confusing there.
