Is there a way to turn off auto selection?
This is really irking me. When I’m scrolling through the timeline Premiere automatically selects the video clip as if I had selected by clicking bypassing my targeting, and forcing me to deselect every time I want to make a targeted selection. Is there a way to alter this behavior?

Go to the Sequence menu and deselect Selection Follows Playhead.

I’m having to do this every time I open Premiere. Does anyone know if this setting should save?!
