Is there a way to subclip the video only, removing the associated audio tracks? As mentioned in an earlier post I am having trouble synching multitrack clips to create merged clips ready for editing. Jerry suggested that perhpas the problem is due to trying to merge my 24bit files with the 16bit audio already associated with my clips. I think he may be onto something there.

I am making sublips of each shot from a longer clip that was captured and I want to just subclip the video, then merge with my multitrack files, but I don’t see a way to do that. So right now, my only method is to edit the video into the timeline and sync up my multitrack files from there, then create a new clip from that. It’s a longer workflow.

If you turn off the linked switch on the timeline. You will make subclips of video only.

But doing it this way does not create a true subclip with Master Clip status. I was wondering if there was a way to do this from the viewer. I was hoping there was a way to tell it to ignore audio tracks, but there appears to be no solution for this task.
