  Is there a way to “precompose” as in after effects ?

  Here is the example. You take a logo. You apply light rays to it. You superimpose it over a piece of video. You then want the logo to come at you from small to large with track motion. The problem is, the light rays are cut off cleanly on the logo frame which does not look good – you want the light rays to stretch across the frame to the piece of video. In after effects, this was avoided by precomposing the project…is there a way in vegas to do this ?
