is there a way to export a single frame in after effects?

There is a number of things you can do…Simplest would be to use timeremap and freeze the frame…Another way would be to find whatever frame you need go to Save frame As, save it as a photoshop file then reimport it. If a frame is already preprocessed, then just import it as a stillstore, AE supports almost all formats.
