  • Is There A Way To Disable Auto Compression In The Logitech C910?

I have a new c910 i have just purchased and downloaded the newest drives from logitech.com for my c910. I have also done the following to stop the compression:

I’m running windows vista32 bit 3.25 GHZ AMD pathon duel core proccessor with 8 gb of DDR 3.

    Webcam model: C 910
    pid or s/n is: 630000737
    p/n: 860-000210
Logitech Software Version: Latest I think it’s 2.27

    This is what Logitech said.

There is an option within our Logitech Webcam software that allows you to record lossless video, which can be done by following the steps below:

    – open up Logitech Webcam Software
    – click on Preferences in the top right-hand corner
    – select the QuickCapture tab
    – choose Lossless (Large file size) in the “Video Recording Quality” drop down menu

The footage looks great while filming but the auto compression makes it look like a blurry mess! It’s set to lossless with antifliker & all the auto features turned off. Is there any way to disable the auto compression or is there another program that will allow a 1080p capture? Sony Vegas Pro 10 defaults to to VGA 640X480 when capturing & there doesn’t seem to be a way to change it. Please help I am desperate. My Filp Ultra HD broke. I went with this camera because I have cp & tripods are a pain. There must be a way to make this cam produce great quality because I have a friend who’s youtube videos are proof.
