Is there a way to copy DVD menus?
Hi,
New user, first time poster. I have searched for this problem, but cannot find it asked, I apologize if it’s been answered before.I have created two movie files from my son’s one hour hockey game, one SD and one BD. I have created two very nice menus in DVDA for the SD one, and have burned discs for the parents of my sons teammates, all is fine there.
What I am trying to do, efficiently, is to somehow just simply swap out the SD movie file with the BD movie file. They are both exact, I changed nothing only the type of render. All the chapter markers are intact.
Please tell me there is a way to efficiently just insert the BD (.m2v) file and remove the SD (.mpg) file. I can deal with broken links, and re-linking them, but my main objective here is to minimize the amount of work in recreating the menus and all the buttons.
The closest I can find (after spending days on this) is to copy each menu as a theme, but it doesn’t copy all the buttons with it. And, I can’t find a way to copy the buttons even separately, although I see there’s a way to select button styles, so there must be a way to save buttons. This would be my second choice in solving this problem, a lot more work than simply replacing the file and rebuilding the links.
I do have the BD discs, I’m ready to go, I just need to build the menu and I’m ready to burn it.
Can anyone help me here please? I need to burn this BD disc for tomorrow as I’m delivering it to a very important client and I want him to have the BD version of the game.
Thank you so much!
Bill
