Is there a way to add notes to events or a project?
I noticed on this page:

That there is a Notepad extension to download. Does this allow you to add notes to a project regarding events or clips?
I’m going through 35 hours of footage for a documentary. I’d like to simply add notes within Vegas to the clips that I’m viewing within the Trimmer Window.
I downloaded the Notepad extension, but it doesn’t appear in Vegas. I am running Vegas 13. Is Notepad compatible with version 13? Or is there a better option for including notes regarding clips?

Notepad would be a good choice for your task at hand, but unfortunately it hasn’t been updated for a while, so it wont work in Vegas 13.

Gary James FREE TimeLine Tools works in VP13
Also, have a look at the “Comment” Field in VP13. Add a Comment and you could even search on that and make a BIN – Good; Bad; Downright Ugly!

My screengrab link (on CC) above showing Notepad is from Vegas Pro 13 build 310. Notepadinstaller was 1.2.0.exe.
See View > Extensions.
I wonder if the later updates broke it. -
SORRY, My terrible mistake gentlemen, Notepad does work and install properly
in Vegas 13. Last i checked it wasn’t, and not seeing vegas 13 listed in
it’s note i figured it still hasn’t yet been updated, but it has.

I tried installing Notepad, but it doesn’t appear anywhere. Just to confirm, where do I go after installing it to start it in Vegas 13?
