Is there a way—Consolidate media & select media relatives–Q’s??
Two questions:
-I need to send just the used clips/media for a very large project w/lots of clips and media not
used in the show (yet) with an editor on a drive(s) to finish on another system. AVID I
could just ‘select media relatives’ and ‘consolidate media’ as I recall. Is there a FCP way to
achieve the same?-Second, deleting un-used clips/media– In AVID I would do a media relatives selection of everything that’s in the show then reverse selection and delete all the old unused clips. Is there any way to do that in FCP?
Thanks for thoughts, ideas suggestions.

You’re going to need to use media manager. It can do what you’re looking for.
If you’re not sure how to use it, crack open the FCP manual for starters.
