Is there a vf file for the default project when Vegas opens?
I have saved a standard project called Standard.vf that has the project settings and various media files that I use for just about every project. I open it and then modify it and save it under a different name each time I start a new project.
My question is this: is there a vf file somewhere that projects the default project that opens up when Vegas starts? Something I can modify so that I don’t have to open the Standard.vf file that I created each time I start a new project. I’d like Vegas to just open with this file, or with the same project settings, without having to explicitly open a file each time.
I searched my computer for all vf files but didn’t see anything that looked like a default template for Vegas. Is there one? If not, is there some other way to get Vegas to open with specific project characteristics (number of tracks, etc.)?

I use Vegas Pro but, as I recall, Movie Studio opens with a preset number of labeled video and audio tracks.
You can do what you did with your “Standard.vf” project, modify the default project as desired and save it under a new name.
