Is there a simple Copy & Paste for duplicating Transitions?
Hey all
Really sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn’t find it.
I wanted a shorter “Fade To Black” Dissolve, so I have put one on the timeline and changed the duration. Is there a simple way to then copy this re-timed transition and then paste it on other joins in the timeline….?
I don’t fancy the labour-intensive task of resetting the duration on every transition?
I have tried everything I can think of, and am probably missing something obvious, but any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can. Select the transition and copy it. Move to the edit you want to place it and select the edit with either [ ] or and then paste.

Have you tried Option+mouse to duplicate them?
Not sure if there is any ‘overhead’ by doing this but it’s an option – or is it :)?Lawrence

No, that gives some choices, but none of which is “Copy” or “Duplicate”

The copy and paste doesn’t work for transitions… 10.0.6
