    To explain what I mean by ‘scrub/speed’, I often find when scrubbing through media you get a really cool flicker of images, yet if you simply speed it up to get the same effect it plays every frame and its looks too moderated. There’s something about scrubbing that makes certain frames catch- my question is does anyone know of a filter that can do something like this? Otherwise can someone in the business of filters design one? lol. My only other option for now is to play to tape and capture me scrubbing then recapture…

    Try the strobe or the blink filter, they have pretty good controls, I think that’s what you want. In the video effects tab.
