    Hi there:
I’ve been working on a short film for the last few months and the first day we shot I had a sound man who had me keep the recording level too low.

You can hear the audio but you have to turn the volume up on the TV to hear it. I tried boosting the GAIN in Premiere and didn’t have very good luck with it, so I put this stuff on the shelf, hoping to reshoot. Now it looks like a reshoot can’t happen, so I’m forced to look at options to fix it myself or cut the sequence from the film.

Is there a process in audition to increase the master volume? If I could just get it up loud enough to hear, I could put sweeteners on it or music to cover some of the distortion (although I’d rather not resort to that).

I can make a 20 second clip after 5:00PM tonight when I get home from work, if anyone could take a crack at it.

    Thanks for any suggestions,

    MIKE
