    Last version of Combustion was released 11 years ago and had per vertex mask tracking.
    Flame and Inferno since the 1990s .
    Is there a REAL mask tracker in after effects ?

    I don’t know if it counts as a REAL mask tracker but AE has had mask tracking for a while now: https://helpx.adobe.com/fi/after-effects/using/rigid-mask-tracking.html

    There’s also Mocha AE that comes with After Effects.

    Are you specifically referring to when the mask is tracked by using its control vertices as the feature trackers in order to animate the shape?
    Then as far as I’m aware, no, this does not exist in After Effects.

    If you just want a tracker that tracks object texture over individual features, then use Mocha AE (or Mocha Pro).

    You may also find some use for this tool, but I don’t think it’s what you’re after:
