Is there a RAM / processor limit?
I read a post from 2005 that stated that “Avid software on the mac has a 2GB limit. Adding more RAM than that doesn’t help the Avid” Is this still true?
Secondly,
I also read that: “Avid software doesn’t see more than one processor. I suggest running adrenaline in single processor mode”. It goes on to say that I should download the Chud utility and have it temporarily turn off one of my processors. Is this still true?

Avid is still a 32-bit app, so it will not address more than 3gb of memory.
