    Hello everyone.

I am a reformed Sony Vegas 9.0 user slowly migrating to PProCS5. After importing a bunch of clips into PPro and then arranging them into my sequence, I would like to do something like this:

    1. Space each clip 15 frames apart.
    2. Add the default Video transition to the beginning and end of each clip.
    3. Add the default Audio transition to the beginning and end of each clip.

In Vegas, I wrote a script (in java) to accomplish the above with a single button. Is there a scripting language for PPro, or possibly a MACRO which can be programmed to do similar? I have been doing the above manually (spacing clips manually, using ctrl+D and ctrl+shift+D), but this gets tiresome.

    Thanks for the help. Cheers!

No, Premiere Pro is not (yet) scriptable.

    Please file a feature request.

I hope PP becomes scriptable very soon. Scripting in AE has increased it’s workflow potential ten-fold.
