Probably been asked before, and I found an old post about it with no answer, so I’m hoping the current Premiere Pro has addressed this, but:

Is there a one click command for Premiere CC 2015 that does what Close Gap does in Final Cut Pro?

I use this ALL the time in FCP, to the extent I have a key mapped to it, it’s a very valuable command for what I do.

(To clarify, I’m not looking for the Ann tutorial that ripples a bunch of gaps closed using a matte, or in/out/ripple delete to remove a gap).

    Thanks!

    (I’m using CC 2015 Premiere Pro, 2015 2.8 MBP 16gig ram)

It’s pretty much the same. Click to choose a gap and press delete/backspace/make your own shortcut for ripple delete or right click the gap and choose ripple delete.
