    hi all

    I wonder if there s a tool like “magic wand(like in Photoshop)” in AE 7.0, i want to use it for masking, i hope that magic wand would do most of the job and i would just make corrections

    Not exactly. There is the Auto-trace command (under the layer menu, I think). It can do basically the same thing, but it works on color or luminance channels. Otherwise you can use a Chroma or Luma Key effect.

    You probably need to include more info so we can have a better understanding of what you are trying to do?
    IF we knew what you wanted to accomplish, we could probably tell you another way to do it, but since you didn’t tell us, we can only guess.

    The color range is another tool that might do what you are trying to accomplish.
