Hi I am teaching an AE and the department is about to upgrade to the educational version of AE7 PRO. Are there any surprises in terms of stuff omitted as was the case in AE 6.5 Pro Educational (cycore plugins).

I think it’s the same that some of the 3rd party plugins are missing in the educational version. I woujld call the adobe store.

I have had bad luck contacting Adobe with regards to what comes with educational software. I bounght AE 6.5 Pro – Educational Version under the impression it was the same as the original minus Invigorator. When I bought it I didn’t get Invigorator AND didn’t get the CC Plug ins. When I upgraded to AFter Effects 7 Educational I got the CC Plug ins and got most of the presets that ship with the regular Pro version. For some reason Adobe leaves out a few presets in the educational version of AE 7. If you contact Adobe, I would reccomend geting your info verified with another source too.
