January 26, 2008 at 10:27 amThe only weird 5.1 issue we are seeing is with After Effects. We can’t get realtime playback of HD material in a RAM preview. v4 and v5 did not have this issue.
It’s as if the graphics card is an AGP card with bandwidth limitations. Turning off AE’s Video Preview “solves” the issue.

January 27, 2008 at 6:39 pmI loaded ver 5.1 on a Tiger G5 Dual 2.7 non intel with ah LH and it completely solved my sync drifting problems outputting component to Betacam on long sequences. Just in time too!
Haven’t given it a good workout in AE etc, but for me, after uninstalling 4.0, it has behaved very nicely. But I had real sync problems outputting to Beta and 5.1 clearly solved them.

February 1, 2008 at 4:07 pmI was having a lot of ‘popping’ noises with the Version 4 driver. When I updated to 5.1 it seemed to have solved the problem. I’m running Tiger, becuase I was having too many issues with Leopard.
