  • Is the Memory Stick on VX2100 compatible with Macintosh G5 OSX?

I have a Sony vx2100. It has a memory stick on board that can take JPEG photos. I want to take these photos and load them into my Macintosh G5 via Iphoto. When I try to mount the card on my Macintosh it does not read the card. Does anyone know if this is even possible or are these two mediums not compatible?

Works fine for me. How are you trying to read the card? Are you using the camera or a card reader? If you’re using the camera then iPhoto might not think to look at it since it thinks it’s a video camera. If you get a reader you should be fine. They’re usually pretty cheap. Something like this:

Thanks of the feedback. I am going to buy a differrent card reader. I have a Sandisk 6 card reader that I purchses a few years back. On thier website it looks like it only works with OS 9. since it it working for you , I am sure it will work for me with that change.

    Thanks agian
